Day 1

Reykjavik/Arrival. You meet with your driver/guide at the airport. Transfer from Keflavík airport to hotel in Reykjavík.

Geysir Hotspring area

Day 2

The golden circle. We drive through the geothermal area at Nesjavellir to admire the breathtaking landscape. We visit Thingvellir national park. There we walk through the historical sites of the Viking parliament before exploring the shore of Iceland’s largest lake to. Then we go to famous hot spring area of Geysir and the nearby Gullfoss, which is known as the Queen of Iceland’s waterfalls. Then snowmobiling on the glacier of Langjokull is an option.

Optional is Viking restaurant Fjorukrain in the evening.

Camping in Þórsmörk valley

Day 3

The south coast and Thorsmork. Traveling along the south shore we visit waterfalls, glaciers, the black sandy beach and one of Scandinavia’s finest folk museums at Skógar. In the afternoon we go to the valley of Thorsmork located between three glaciers. We continue to Stokkseyri where people can have dinner of own choise.

Day 4

Viking horses and the Blue lagoon. We start the day heading to Hafnarfjördur where we meet our Icelandic horses for the next part of our adventure. The horses are trained both for beginners and experienced riders, and we enjoy a 1½-hour riding tour through lava fields. After a light lunch we visit the Blue Lagoon, one of the world’s most exciting hot springs. We can use the afternoon for shopping.

Day 5

Snaefellsnes peninsula. The western peninsula is a unique area and only about two hours’ drive from Reykjavik. Nature lovers enjoy the energy radiation, as they believe it to be on one of earths few energy spots. It has also been an inspiration for authors as the widely read book . The Journey to the centre of the earth’ by the French author Jules Verne tells you. We drive to Arnarstapi village and make a short stop; from there we head to the north shore of Snæfellsnes and stop at Bjarnarhöfn farm to taste the traditional Icelandic shark and burned wine.
